Life experiences influence various fields of life, they also play an important role in the formation of parenting beliefs. Empirical research has shown that parents’ personal life experiences are significant in the formation of their upbringing preferences. Attention should also be paid to their own experiences of being raised as a factor relevant to the formation of parental preferences and the identity formation of the parental role. After all, the generational family is the first social group in which a person begins to watch the world around them and acquires the skills to function in society. It is also where the child observes the parenting model. Experiences connected with the family of origin can inspire and sometimes cause changes in the approach to parenting.
