Key Axiological Challenges Towards the Priority Problems of the Contemporary Time Including Methodological Issues

Abstract

In this article, after introductory remarks, I take up the complex issue of key axiological challenges in relation to the priority problems of the present day and I refer to selected methodological issues. The whole discussion ends with a short summary. The present day fascinates humanity with the acceleration of civilization, accompanied by beliefs about unprecedented opportunities for the development of man and his world to the measure of both individual aspirations and intentions of various social communities in a dynamically evolving reality, which is clearly permeated by the idea of progress. The key role in expanding knowledge is played by constructing new, solid epistemological and exploratory foundations of the discipline, including in particular proposing original paradigms and methodological strategies, as well as the use of pioneering methods and innovative techniques and innovative research tools. The methodology of axiological and educational research, due to its specificity, is an object of exploration that is extremely difficult to undergo research, therefore it requires special care and commitment.
