Abstrakt

The article is taking assignments of social worker in the hospice care in the United States of America. The first part is focusing on history and development of hospice movement in US, especially social, historical, economical and statistical conditions. Further part includes requirements for application for social worker in the institution for terminally ill, assignments and the scope of responsibilities in hospice team. Finally recalled fields of research exploration on the field of social working.
