50 Years of Activity of the Student’s Scientific Society of Musicology in The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin

Abstract
In the last academic year (2017/2018), the Institute of Musicology of The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin celebrated an important Jubilee. After the Cecilia celebrations connected with the 60th anniversary of the existence of the unit (November 2016), it was the turn to commemorate the half-century of the students scientific movement.
This sketch is a contribution to the analysis on the activity of students of Lublin musicology and their participation in the development of scientific research in various fields of religious music.
