Initiatives of Civil Society in the Field of Dupport Services for Dependents and Their Families

Abstract

Social innovation is an extensive area of activities aimed at permanently improving the conditions and quality of life, which are at the heart of both social policy and social work. They appear in the context of the development of new products, services and programs that meet social needs, public service delivery, the growing role of civil society and the role of social economy, the model of public management and multisectoral model in the delivery of social services. The paper presents the social dimension of innovation and its implications for the functioning of the civic sector in care services for dependents and their family members. This paper presents first effects of the innovation stimulus programs for this group of service recipients within the framework of broadly understood social services for families.
