Theme: Between Tradition and Innovation

The editors of the forthcoming issue of Roczniki Humanistyczne (Annals of Arts), vol. 11 Anglica, 2025 invite original articles examining the interplay between tradition and innovation in English-language literature and literary studies. Possible topics or areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

• old questions, new solutions
• continuations and ruptures
• cutting-edge approaches to literary texts
• new formalisms
• from post to neo

We accept only unpublished research papers of high scientific quality.

Language: English
Article length: up to 30 000 characters with spaces (including abstracts, key words, and the list of works cited)
Formatting: the Chicago Manual of Style 17th ed. (the footnotes and bibliography system: https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html)
Deadline for submission: 31 March 2025
