The Editorial Board of Roczniki Humanistyczne (Annals of Arts), Fascicle 6 Linguistics, invites scholars to submit their contributions to the forthcoming issue (2026), whose leitmotif will be Encounters: Art and Language.

We welcome a broad spectrum of the topic interpretations, selection of research methods and material bases, which we leave at the authors’ discretion. The profile of this issue particularly favours, but is not limited to, articles which will investigate:

- the terminology of fine arts in diachronic and synchronic aspects,
- the plasticity and musicality of language,
- the onomastics of works of art,
- audio description.

We accept only unpublished research papers of high scientific rigour, in Polish, English, or any other congress language. We reserve the right to reject a manuscript that does not correspond to the thematic profile of the journal or does not meet formal requirements.

Contributions of approximately 20,000-30,000 characters (with spaces), including citation and references following the APA standard (https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rh/citation), should be sent to the Editorial Board via our OJS system.
