The Editorial Board of Roczniki Humanistyczne (Annals of Arts), Fascicle 6 Linguistics, invites scholars to submit contributions to the forthcoming 2027 issue devoted to the theme Encounters: Language and Cuisine.

We welcome contributions representing a wide range of theoretical perspectives, research methodologies, and source materials, leaving the choice of approach to the authors. The issue particularly encourages, though is not limited to, submissions addressing the following topics:

- Cuisine and the table as spaces of social communication and culture;
- Culinary lexicon and phraseology in diachronic and synchronic perspectives;
- Genres and forms of culinary discourse.

We accept only original, previously unpublished research articles of high scholarly quality, written in Polish, English, or another congress language. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject submissions that fall outside the thematic scope of the issue or fail to meet the journal’s formal and editorial requirements.

Manuscripts of approximately 20,000-30,000 characters (including spaces) should follow the APA citation and reference style (see: https://ojs.tnkul.pl/index.php/rh/citation). Submissions must be made exclusively through the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
