Classical section
The editors of the classical section of the forthcoming issue of Roczniki Humanistyczne (vol. 3, 2027) invite submissions of original research articles on Greek and Latin Literature, Ancient History, and Classical Reception.
We welcome contributions exploring diverse aspects of the Greco-Roman world, with a particular interest in the following areas:
We accept only previously unpublished research papers of high scholarly quality. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.
Language: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Latin, or Polish.
Article length: up to 30,000 characters with spaces (including abstracts, keywords, and works cited).
Formatting: The Chicago Manual of Style, 17th ed. (notes-and-bibliography system; see: www.chicagomanualofstyle.org).
Deadline for submission: 30 June, 2026.
The editorial team reserves the right to preselect submissions based on relevance and academic quality.

Sinological section
The editors of the forthcoming issue of Roczniki Humanistyczne (Annals of Arts), vol. 3 Classical and Sinological Studies, 2027 invite submissions of original research articles on nature, ecology, and the human in Chinese and Sinophone literature. We welcome contributions exploring how classical and contemporary works engage with ecological thought, environmental ethics, and representations of the human–nature relationship.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
• ecocritical approaches to Chinese-language literature
• motifs of nature in classical and modern Chinese-language poetry
• Chinese conceptions of the human–nature relationship
• comparative studies of Chinese and Western ecological thought.
