The article presents the process of digitalization of the unique archival collection of the Eastern-Central Region of NSZZ “Solidarność” and its incorporation into the resources of the Institute of National Remembrance. The materials, including documents, photographs, posters, and chronicles, were digitally transferred in 2025 to mark the 45th anniversary of the Lublin July 1980 events. The technical and substantive aspects of selection, digitalization, and archival preservation of the collection are discussed, emphasizing its research value for analyses of the socio-political transformations during the Polish People’s Republic (PRL) period and the democratic transition. Attention is given to the collection’s potential for further studies. The digitalization process represents a significant step in preserving the legacy of “Solidarność” and making it accessible to researchers and the public.
