His academic achievements center on the aesthetics of Roman Ingarden, particularly in the fields of literary aesthetics and axiology. A separate section is dedicated to Tyszczyk’s most recent book, Within the Realm of the Tragic. Studies, which draws upon his extensive expertise across multiple disciplines: aesthetics, the concept of the tragic and its historical origins, as well as his earlier work on the theory and practice of interpretation. The article underscores the unique characteristics of Tyszczyk’s research, solidifying his significant role in Polish literary scholarship.
