The Durability of the War Theme in Discourse and Contemporary Humanities Research (on Stefan Zabierowski’s Proposal)

Abstract

This article presents the evidence confirming the phenomenon of durability of the war problematics in literary, historical, and scientific texts. The background of considerations is the writers’ opinions on the place of wars in history. That is followed by the presentation of temporary interdisciplinary approach of the war topic. Particular emphasis is placed on research of the war topic, done by Stefan Zabierowski. It is presumed that results of his works, referring to collective identity, might be integrated into the project of temporary culture myths.
