Focus and Scope
Roczniki Pedagogiczne / Annals of Pedagogies is a pedagogical academic journal publishing topical, original, empirical and theoretical research results in individual areas of educational sciences. It promotes novel and creative developments in pedagogical methodology and methods of educational work.
The journal publishes articles in the following areas of pedagogical research:
1) theory of education (with particular emphasis on personalistic pedagogy);
2) history of education and pedagogical thought;
3) education and school pedagogy and didactics;
4) special pedagogy and psychopedagogy;
5) social rehabilitation and preventive pedagogy ;
6) care pedagogy, family pedagogy;
7) social pedagogy.
The Journal publishes scholarly achievements of three types: a) original articles of both empirical and theoretical nature; b) reports and communications; c) reviews.
Our Journal applies objective criteria of scholarly evaluation of submitted texts. It is addressed to researchers and PhD students in the above-mentioned pedagogical areas of theory and practice and representatives of related disciplines and fields of knowledge.
We accept texts in Polish, English, French, German and Italian.
Publishing schedule: 4 issues per year (March, June, September, December).
If the Journal is discontinued, access to the published content shall be provided by Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL / The Learned Society of KUL.
