The indicated article focuses attention on describing the functioning of Ireland’s migrants on the basis of participatory observation of two homes. The original research objectives included the implementation of a series of comprehensive interviews, however, due to the reluctance of migrants in the research as a result of fright of the pandemic, fatigue with migration research as well as the economic and social problems facing the country with above all own community, no more than a fraction of the interviews could be conducted. The starting point transpired to be participatory observation, the initiative was not born in the mind of the researcher but of the migrants themselves, who, as a result of tediousness with research, had no objections to live with them as well as observe daily existence. The present feature therefore responds to the research query: How do migrants in Ireland function in a post-pandemic situation in an era of socio-economic crisis? I hypothesized that migrants nowadays are not as energetic as they were before the pandemic in terms of social relations as well as the fulfillment of life requirements. Migrants are characterized by less trust along with limiting spending by creating commons (housing). Ireland is currently characterized by population growth. The pressing social problem is at this instant a gap, housing shortages – shortages in securing the housing requirements of indigenous as well as immigrant residents implying a quantity of social problems.
