Abstract

The aim of this article is to present the broad scientific competencies of Ludwik Henryk Bojanus and his contribution to the overall development of the University of Vilnius, especially in the field of veterinary medicine. In this regard, the qualifications of the scholar have been presented, focusing on his ability to create innovative experimental techniques in the field of observational-experimental research, theoretical foundations, and organizational-educational aspects. His skills, along with knowledge of research conducted in international bodies, allow him to be considered a world-class scientist, working at that time within the structures of the University of Vilnius.
