Annals of Social Sciences [Roczniki Nauk Społecznych] is a scientific journal published by the Learned Society of the Catholic University of Lublin [Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL] in cooperation with the Catholic University of Lublin [Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II]. They have been in continuous operation since 1949 and provide a place for independent scientific discussion. They aim to publish the latest scientific research and reliable knowledge on current social problems. The publications deal with issues in three disciplines: sociological sciences, security sciences, social communication and media.

The journal is published periodically - 4 issues are published per year (in March, June, September and December). Articles are accepted on a rolling basis. Information about thematic issues can be found under Announcements.

Roczniki Nauk Społecznych is indexed in the following databases: ERIH +, Index Copernicus, CEEOL, CEJSH, MOST Wiedzy, Arianta, Institutional Repository of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

According to the Announcement of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education on 5 January 2024, the journal has received 70 points.
