Roczniki Nauk Społecznych (Annals of Social Sciences) is a scholarly journal published by the Learned Society of the Catholic University of Lublin (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL) in cooperation with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). The Journal has been published continuously since 1949, and is a forum of independent scientific discussion. It aims to publish the latest scientific research and reliable knowledge on current social problems, within the following areas: sociology, security studies, communication and media studies.
The Journal is published regularly, 4 issues per year (March, June, September, December). Articles are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Information about planned issues can be found under Announcements.
Roczniki Nauk Społecznych is indexed in various databases, including EBSCO, ERIH +, Index Copernicus, CEEOL, CEJSH, MOST Wiedzy, Arianta, Polona, Library of Science, KUL’s Institutional Repository.
According to the Announcement of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 5 January 2024, the Journal has been awarded 70 points.
