The article is dedicated to Irena Gałęzowska (1891-1977), a curator who was associated with the Polish Library in Paris for over 50 years, playing a significant role in Polish cultural activities and the preservation of Polish literary heritage in France. Gałęzowska was also an author of books, numerous articles, and studies in scientific journals in the fields of philosophy, sociology, psychology, as well as the history of literature, Polish philosophy, and the history of the Great Emigration. Additionally, she was involved in social initiatives.
