Renata Gadamska-Serafin’s latest monograph focuses on reconstructing the knowledge of Etruscan culture in the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It offers excellent research materials for contemporary scholars of both periods, providing a wealth of information on publications about the culture, collectors’ items, archaeological discoveries, and even tourist attractions. These resources have been used for comparative analyses of ‚Etruscan themes’ in the work of Cyprian Norwid. The rich factography and research findings significantly contribute to the current state of research on his work, as well as on Polish and European Romanticism.
