This article presents the manuscript of the peregrination of the Mazovian nobleman Jan Goryński to the Holy Land and its two editions (1914, 1966). It is noted that these editions do not overlap with the manuscript in many places. So far, researchers have not caught these discrepancies, as they have only reached for the printed versions of the work. Nor have they been interested in thoroughly studying the account, to identify problematic questions in the description. To date, the only valuable work on Gorinski‘s work that brings many new findings is an article by Marian Chachaj (2004).
