Some details on Norwid’s trip to Italy (1842-1845)

Abstract

The article presents some minor additions to Norwid’s biography between 1842 and 1845. They concern his departure from Warsaw in 1842 and the financial issues involved, his journey from Munich to Venice and his stays in Naples between 1844 and 1845. The article publishes an inventory of the Laskowo Głuchy estate drawn up for an auction, information from a newspaper published in Tyrol and data from passport records collected in the Naples State Archive.
