Law as a Game: Perspectives on Ludological Analysis of Law

Abstract

The article aims to highlight the significant connections and similarities between law, as a broadly understood social phenomenon, and games, thereby underscoring the value of ludology and game studies in the field of law research. Both phenomena are deeply rooted in the concept of normativity, as their conceptual core involves activities bound by rules. Tracing mutual similarities may be an interesting starting point for analysing some social aspects of law in a new light.
