Annals of Social Sciences [Roczniki Nauk Społecznych] is an open-access academic journal directed to Polish and international scholars. The journal is devoted to three fields of study: security studies, journalism and social communication, and sociology and it publishes articles, research reports, reviews, and polemics.

Roczniki Nauk Społecznych is indexed in the following databases: EBSCO, ERIH +, Index Copernicus, CEEOL, CEJSH, MOST Wiedzy, Arianta, Institutional Repository of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

According to the Announcement of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education on 5 January 2024, the journal has received 70 points.

Publishing schedule: 4 issues of the journal are published each year: in March, June, September and December. Articles accepted for publication are published online first.
